Line 6 of the Madrid Metro will not be in service between Arganzuela-Planetario and Ciudad Universitaria on five days in November. EMT has arranged the free SE6 bus for those days.
The Madrid Metro will interrupt the operation of the line 6 between Arganzuela-Planetario and Ciudad Universitaria on 7, 8 and 9 November and 21 and 22 November. This is noted in the notice from OK Diario regarding the Metro announcement on 3 November, which affects the eastern arc of the network, around Avenida de América.
According to information from Metro, the interruptions are due to tests of future automated trains. This is not a continuous suspension throughout the month, and both stations will remain open as terminals of the operational section.
During the interruption, EMT has provided a free bus service SE6, with terminals at Legazpi and Ciudad Universitaria. The first departures are at 6.05 from both terminals, and there are also initial departures from Pacífico, Manuel Becerra and Cuatro Caminos in both directions.
The last departures vary by day. After Saturdays 7 and 21, the last bus leaves at 2.03 from Legazpi and at 2.05 from Ciudad Universitaria. On Sundays 8 and 22, and Monday 9, the service ends earlier, with the last departure from Legazpi at 23.24 and from Ciudad Universitaria at 23.29.
To travel from Legazpi, the terminal is at stop 3644, on Paseo del Molino, in front of number 7. In the opposite direction, the departure point is stop 1687 on Avenida Complutense, next to the Faculty of Medicine. The indicated times are departures from the terminals, not passing times at intermediate stops.
Those planning their journey can check wait times on the EMT's Navega por Madrid app or in Mi autobús, using the stop code or line. It is advisable to verify the direction before looking for the bus, as the stop at each terminal is on different sides of the route.
