Movistar Estudiantes has finalised the signing of Croatian forward Boris Tisma, 23, who has signed for the next two seasons, until June 2028. He arrives from Zadar and counts as a local training player (JFL).
The Movistar Estudiantes has announced the signing of Boris Tisma, Croatian forward who has signed for the next two seasons, until June 2028. The operation, reported by solobasket.com, strengthens the collegiate team's roster ahead of the upcoming season in the Primera FEB.
Tisma, 23, comes from Zadar, where last season he averaged 9.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and 9.5 efficiency rating per game in the ABA League. The forward brings versatility, the ability to stretch the floor, and experience in the Liga Endesa and Balkan basketball.
Trained in the Real Madrid youth system since 2015, Tisma was considered one of the great prospects of the white club. In 2018, he shone with Croatia at the Under-16 European Championship, where he scored 24 points and 8/9 shooting in the final against Spain. His progression led him to debut with the Real Madrid first team in January 2020, at just 17 years old, precisely against Movistar Estudiantes.
For the Madrid team, his signing has added value: Tisma counts as a local training player (JFL), meaning he qualifies as a quota player in the Liga Endesa, having completed the required training years in Spain.
Movistar Estudiantes is thus continuing to build an ambitious squad with the aim of promotion to the ACB.
