Thieves entered Éder Militao's home in La Moraleja while his family watched the Clásico. They took jewellery and watches worth over €350,000.
A burglary at the home of Real Madrid footballer Éder Militao in La Moraleja, Alcobendas, has resulted in the theft of jewellery, watches, and luxury items valued at over €350,000. The information comes from miracorredor.tv.
The incident occurred between 21:00 and 22:00 hours on the Sunday of the Clásico, while the Brazilian defender remained on the bench without playing. At least two thieves entered through a bathroom window on the third floor and searched the bedroom, while several family members watched the match downstairs.
The theft was discovered around 21:50 hours, when National Police officers, accompanied by security guards from the residential area, arrived at the house and asked the family if they had seen anyone with bulging bags. After receiving a negative response, they inspected the property and found the bedroom ransacked.
Among the stolen items is a Rolex valued at €53,000 and a Richard Mille worth around €170,000, as well as three Chanel bags (around €15,000) and rings and bracelets from Cartier (around €25,000). Other jewellery, bracelets, and suitcases complete the total.
The alarm was not connected, as the family only activated it when going to bed. The intruders ripped out a camera installed in the room, although the device managed to record them for a few seconds.
The Provincial Brigade of Judicial Police is in charge of the investigation and is analysing those images along with recordings from the perimeter cameras of the residential area to identify the perpetrators.
Militao, who attaches sentimental value to some of the pieces, has hired Rogelio Gómez, president of OPS2 Servicios, to try to recover them. According to this professional, possible sales in jewellery stores and on the black market will also be tracked.
