The Móstoles council has approved the agreement with the Community of Madrid to establish the Madrid Puerta Oeste consortium, with an expectation of over 6,000 direct jobs.

The Plenary of the Móstoles City Council has approved the agreement with the Community of Madrid to establish the Urban Consortium Madrid Puerta Oeste, as reported by mostoles.es. The consortium will develop nearly two million square metres of industrial, logistics, and business land, with an expectation of over 6,000 direct jobs.

The project occupies an approximate area of 1.97 million square metres, of which more than 786,000 will be buildable. It is located in the SUS-P2, SUS-P3, and SUS-P4 sectors of the city's General Urban Planning Plan, and the mayor, Manuel Bautista, considers it an opportunity to attract companies and generate employment for residents.

Today we take a decisive step towards building the economic future of Móstoles.

The consortium will have a participation of 60% from the Community of Madrid and 40% from the Móstoles City Council. The municipal contribution amounts to 1,778,000 euros, spread over 2026, 2027, and 2028, to initiate and finance the initial operation of the consortium.

According to the mayor, collaboration with the Community is necessary to advance a project of this magnitude. Madrid Puerta Oeste will expand the availability of land for industrial, logistics, and business activities, taking advantage of its connection to the A-5 and M-50.

We are working to ensure that Móstoles is not only a city to live in but also a city to invest in, start a business, and work.
