The project is designed by Danish architect Bjarke Ingels and will feature a structure made up of cylinders. It will be located next to the Santiago Bernabéu stadium and the current Palacio de Congresos, which will house the future headquarters of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
The building will have 15 floors and will include a business centre, a spa, a dining space, and a rooftop. The opening is scheduled for 2028.
During the project presentation, the Madrid City Council stated that the hotel will act as a catalyst for growth and urban transformation in the Azca area, a zone well known to residents of the Chamartín district for its office activity.
