Over 450 exhibiting companies will be at Ifema on 11th and 12th November. There will be robots and automated systems in action.

More than 450 exhibiting companies, of which 102 are new, and over 250 experts will participate in Logistics & Automation Madrid, according to ecosistemastartup.com. The event takes place on 11th and 12th November at the Ifema venue, which this year shares space with Empack and Logistic & Industrial Build (LIB).

This edition focuses on the automation of operations and artificial intelligence applied to the supply chain. Unlike other fairs, visitors will be able to see robots, forklifts and automated systems in action and talk with those who develop them and those who already use them.

The new space AI & Logistics Tech will cover 700 m² and will bring together 36 companies in artificial intelligence, software, and logistics technology. Among them are Mecalux, KNAPP, ABB, Mujin Europe, Clustag RFID Solutions, and PTV. New additions for this edition include Linde Material Handling, SEW-EURODRIVE, VisionNav Robotics, NovaX Robotics, Itoh Denki Europe, Transporeon, and Odoo.

According to Eurocarne, the organisation expects around 120 international exhibitors, nearly 28% of the total, with a notable presence of companies from China, Turkey, Italy, Germany, and Portugal.

ABB Robotics will showcase a collaborative palletising demonstration with the cobot PoWa CRB 1920, weighing 16 kg, combined with the autonomous mobile robot AMR P603 at stand 6G04 in pavilion 6. According to Interempresas, this mobile robot achieves a positioning accuracy of up to ±5 mm without reflectors or physical guides.

In its picking and packing cell, it will use the delta robot IRB 365 FlexPicker and the IRB 920T Scara, with a cycle time of 0.29 seconds.

The fair will organise Live Tours, guided tours lasting one hour. On Wednesday 11th, at 10:30, the automation, robotics, and equipment tour will visit stands such as Singular Logistics, TGW Logistics, YASKAWA, or STILL. On Thursday 12th, the AI and technology for the supply chain tour includes Odoo, Zucchetti, and Arvato. Zucchetti Spain, according to Murcia.com, will make a stop at 10:30 from pavilion 4, stand 4B40.

Each tour lasts one hour, allowing those evaluating a project to compare several solutions in that time.
