Getafe could not go beyond a draw (1-1) against Deportivo at the Coliseum. Ramón Terrats put the hosts ahead and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang equalised in the final stages.

The Getafe earned a point this Sunday at the Coliseum after drawing (1-1) with Deportivo in a match where Ramón Terrats put the locals ahead and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang equalised in the closing moments. The team managed by José Bordalás remains without a home victory and has accumulated four points in the standings, according to information from epe.es.

The blue midfielder, who returned to Getafe after his time at Espanyol, scored a great goal and became the linchpin of his team's play after the departure of Luis Milla. His goal seemed to be steering towards Deportivo's first defeat of the season, but Aubameyang, with his fifth goal of the campaign, prevented a local victory.

The match was marked by absences in Getafe. Andrés García fell out at the last minute, Boselli moved to right back, and the suspension of Zaid Romero added to the absences of Abqar, Uche, and Juanmi. The bench, filled with youth players, reflected Bordalás' lack of resources, as he saw his team dominate the first half hour without reward.

In that initial phase, Iván Azón had a goal disallowed two minutes in for offside and then squandered several chances due to rushing. Ünal shot over the bar and Satriano tested the hands of Leo Román, the Deportivo goalkeeper.

The hydration break changed the script. Antonio Hidalgo reorganised his side and Deportivo came out with more authority. Aubameyang moved to the right and Mario Soriano began to appear between the lines. The Galicians then generated their best chances, almost always with Quagliata as the finisher: a volley over the bar and a left-footed shot that forced Soria to intervene. Soriano also tested the blue goalkeeper after a pass from Luismi Cruz.

Deportivo, who had won their previous two matches, were looking for their third consecutive victory to establish themselves as a surprise team. Hidalgo introduced Marc Casadó for the first time in the starting eleven in place of Riki. The point leaves the Galicians unbeaten, while Getafe continues to search for a win in front of their fans.

His match will not be perfect because Aubameyang spoiled it for him, who once again showed his voracity in the final stages of the match to equalise a game that seemed destined to be the first defeat for Antonio Hidalgo's men this season

The next commitment for Getafe will be crucial to measure their reaction. Bordalás' team will have to seek points away from home that have eluded them at the Coliseum.
