According to the latest data from the Government Delegation against Gender Violence, so far this year 37 women have been murdered due to gender violence and 26 minors have been orphaned as a result of these crimes. Since 2003, the total number of women murdered has risen to 1,378, while since 2013, 536 minors have been counted as orphans.
