The order, dated September 1, requests information from the Local Police Headquarters regarding the operation of VinfoPOL, the data it contains, who can access it, and whether the Councillor for Security is authorised to use it. It also seeks to determine if Rodríguez has accessed the platform, since when he has had access, who authorised his registration as a user, and what queries he has made.
The judicial body indicates that the facts present characteristics that suggest "the possible existence of a criminal offence" and has agreed to carry out the necessary proceedings to determine its nature, circumstances, and the individuals who may have intervened.
The spokesperson for the Getafe PP, Antonio José Mesa, argued on Monday that the councillor must resign from his public responsibilities for "transparency and exemplary conduct" and emphasised that the investigation directly affects the competencies assigned to him as the person responsible for Citizen Security.

Mesa maintained that the system contains confidential information about residents and questioned whether the councillor has his own username and password to access VinfoPOL. The PP also raises a possible violation of data protection regulations, which they claim they will assess.
The proposal that the popular party will bring to the plenary also urges the mayor, the socialist Sara Hernández, to point out the "incompatibility" between the judicial investigation and the exercise of government responsibilities, especially those related to Citizen Security.
The City Council previously expressed its position on this matter, defending that the current Councillor for Security has had access to the same management information as the PP spokesperson when he held that position, with the difference that the procedures that were previously conducted on paper are now processed electronically.
It also questioned the PP's presentation of judicial conclusions as statements that, in their opinion, constitute "opinions and accusations" and noted that it had not been specified what disclosure of secrets is attributed to the councillor, considering that the popular party's statements respond to "pure speculation".
The Getafe Plenary will be held on Wednesday, where the PP's proposal will be debated. The councillor is summoned to testify in the Court of Instruction number 1 of Getafe on November 17.
