The registered unemployment in Boadilla del Monte decreased by four people in October, leaving 1,498 unemployed, according to the Public Employment Service of the Community of Madrid.
According to Boadilla Digital, the Public Employment Service of the Community of Madrid recorded 1,498 people unemployed in Boadilla del Monte in October, four less than in September. Compared to October 2025, unemployment rose by 8.24%, with 114 more unemployed.
Of the total, 897 are women and 601 are men. By age, those over 45 years old account for 1,021 unemployed, followed by the 25 to 44 years age group, with 396, and those under 25 years, with 81.
By sectors, Services holds 1,370 unemployed. It is followed by Industry, with 60, people without previous employment, with 35, and Construction, with 32. In Agriculture, there is one registered.
In the whole of the Community of Madrid, according to the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy (MITES), unemployment rose in October by 4,071 people (an increase of 1.44% compared to September), reaching 287,356. In annual terms, the figure increases by 2.5%, with 7,019 more unemployed.
In Spain, the offices of the State Public Employment Service (SEPE) registered 43,128 more unemployed in October than in September (an increase of 1.81%). However, compared to October of the previous year, the total decreases by 0.86%, with 21,133 fewer people.
