Shakira arrives in Madrid on September 18 with 12 concerts in Villaverde. The 'Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran' tour transforms into a cultural experience with Macondo Park, 27 artists, and a literary cycle.
Shakira lands in Madrid on September 18 to present the European residency of her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour. The Iberdrola Music venue, in the Villaverde district, will host a proposal that goes beyond concerts for four weekends: Es Latina will bring together music, literature, fashion, art, and gastronomy, as reported by EXA FM.
The heart of the experience will be Macondo Park, a temporary city of 15 hectares inspired by the works of Gabriel García Márquez and Latin American culture. It will open for 12 hours daily and feature eight themed pavilions, including The Library, in collaboration with Penguin Random House; The Workshop, dedicated to Spanish fashion and where the artist's hair care brand, ÍSIMA, will be presented; The Market, showcasing culinary offerings from chef Rafa Zafra; and The Shakira Museum, featuring costumes and unpublished materials.
On the secondary stages, more than 27 artists will perform, including Amaia, Nathy Peluso, Guitarricadelafuente, Lia Kali, Yerai Cortés, Gale, Louta, Maro, Santos Bravos, and Aria Vega, along with emerging talents from the Benidorm Fest. The project includes a literary cycle titled Ciegas, sordas, pero nunca mudas, featuring 24 female writers such as Rosa Montero, Elísabet Benavent, Lydia Cacho, and Julia Navarro, and a design area with brands like Agatha Ruiz de la Prada and Isabel Sanchis.
The residency includes 12 nights of concerts from September 18 to October 11 at the Shakira Stadium, a temporary structure with a capacity of over 50,000 spectators per day. Tickets are already on sale: seats range from €73.50 (PL4) to €158.50 (PL1); general admission costs €119, front stage €181.50, and VIP packages range from €328.50 to €1,000 for the VIP Terrace Experience.
To reach the venue, it is recommended to use Metro Line 3 (station Villaverde Alto) or the Cercanías Renfe lines C-3, C-4, and C-5 (stations San Cristóbal Industrial and Villaverde Alto). The organization will provide free electric shuttle buses for the night return to Atocha, stopping at Legazpi.
