The Community of Madrid has entrusted the state company Tragsa with the maintenance of its 13 libraries and six bibliometros after terminating the contract with Clide due to breaches. Más Madrid reports 88 complaints and 45 incidents related to air conditioning this summer.
The Community of Madrid has signed an agreement with the state company Tragsa, part of the SEPI group, to take care of the maintenance of the 13 public libraries and the six bibliometros that fall under the regional government. The previous contract, awarded to Clide Mantenimiento, was terminated due to breaches that jeopardised visitor safety, as acknowledged by the regional government. The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sport imposed a fine of 414,000 euros on Clide for damages, as reported by Infobae.
