Madrid, November 2026. When does a poem become a song? What happens when poetry also finds its place in music? These questions traverse the creative universe of "Noveno cielo", the sixth poetry book by Helena Trujillo, which will be presented in Madrid next Friday, 27th November.

The new publication brings together poems and song lyrics written by the author herself. The book thus allows a closer look at two forms of her creation: poetry to embark on its journey as such, and poems that find a marriage with music and transform into song.

Poetry and Music

This musical dimension is part of Helena Trujillo's artistic trajectory, who also develops her facet as La Marquesa del Tango. Under this artistic name, she explores the meeting between poetry, song, and performance, expanding the stages and formats in which she presents her creative work.

Poet, psychoanalyst, and educator, Helena Trujillo maintains an activity that combines writing, teaching, and participation in cultural projects. Linked to the School of Poetry and Psychoanalysis Grupo Cero, she participates in recitals, literary meetings, and proposals that put poetry, music, and creation in dialogue.

The presentation of "Noveno cielo" will feature the participation of Clémence Loonis and Susana Lorente, poets and psychoanalysts from the Grupo Cero School, who will accompany the author in this literary gathering.

The event will take place on Friday, 27th November 2026, at 19:00, at the headquarters of the School of Poetry and Psychoanalysis Grupo Cero, located at Calle La Estrella, 19, 1.º B, Madrid. It will be streamed live via Grupo Cero TV on Facebook. At the end, a glass of Spanish wine will be offered to the attending public, along with the possibility of purchasing signed copies of the book from the author. The venue is located near the Noviciado and Gran Vía Metro stations.

The publication offers an angle of interest for Culture sections and radio spaces: an author who writes poetry and also her own song lyrics, and who develops an artistic identity linked to tango. The relationship between poem, song, and performance opens a conversation about the different paths of creation.

The author is available for interviews regarding the publication. Phone 626673322.
