The Town Hall of San Sebastián de los Reyes will recognise the career of Benito Milano, physiotherapist for the Spanish national team and head of Physiotherapy at the municipal Sports Service, on October 7.
The municipality of San Sebastián de los Reyes will celebrate a tribute to Benito Milano, a local resident and physiotherapist for the medical team of the Spanish football national team, on October 7, as reported by pressnorte.com. The event will take place at 18:00 hours in the auditorium of the Municipal Training Centre, located at Avenida de Ramón y Cajal, number 5.
Entry will be free until the venue reaches capacity. Milano has been part of the national team’s medical team for eight years and has participated in the titles of the Euro 2024 and World Cup 2026.
His association with the Royal Spanish Football Federation spans over 20 years. During this time, he has developed his work in the field of sports physiotherapy, within the teams responsible for the preparation and medical care of the football players.
For the past eight seasons, he has been part of the medical team of the national first team. His work takes place off the pitch, addressing the physical needs of the players so they can compete under suitable conditions.
Milano's career with the national team is complemented by his role in San Sebastián de los Reyes, where he is responsible for the Physiotherapy area of the Town Hall’s Sports Service. This role is linked to the municipal sports centres La Viña and Dehesa Boyal, where he provides services within the municipal sports structure.
The tribute will serve to recognise a local resident who is part of the medical team of the Spanish national team and who has been present at the recent international titles of the national squad.
