According to Infobae, Kylian Mbappé netted a brace in Real Madrid's 4-1 victory against Sevilla this Sunday and is now three goals behind the top scorer, Raphinha from Barcelona.
Raphinha returned on Saturday against Betis after recovering from an injury and has twelve goals in the standings after the ninth matchday. Mbappé has nine and had last scored after two matches without finding the net.
Lamine Yamal occupies third place with eight goals, after scoring in Barcelona's victory over Betis. Just behind him is Ante Budimir, with seven, who scored in Osasuna's win over Racing de Santander.
On the same matchday, Álex Baena scored his fifth goal of the season in Atlético de Madrid's 0-1 victory against Espanyol, with a shot from the edge of the area. Mikel Oyarzabal also opened his league account with a brace for Real Sociedad against Málaga.
