The Government Council approves an investment of nearly 2.6 million euros until 2028 to maintain and improve the tickets and screens at Primary Care centres.

According to alcabodelacalle.es, the Government Council of the Community of Madrid has approved an investment of nearly 2.6 million euros until 2028 to renew the digital systems of health centres. The plan covers the maintenance and improvement of ticket dispensers and information screens in Primary Care.

The action encompasses 831 ticket dispensers and 2,626 monitors distributed across the facilities of the Madrilenian Health Service. These devices register the arrival of patients, assign shifts electronically, and organise access to consultations.

The screens display content while patients wait. This includes health tips, notices about new services, and news related to health activities.

The devices are connected to the Electronic Clinical History (AP-Madrid), so professionals know when a patient has arrived and obtained their ticket. The renewal also links them to the Virtual Health Card, which allows patients to check their order of attendance from their mobile and receive a notification when it's their turn to enter the consultation.
