The Community of Madrid has published the list of students benefiting from the Baccalaureate scholarships for the 2026/2027 academic year, with a budget of €43.5 million.
More than 17,400 students will receive a Baccalaureate scholarship for the 2026/2027 academic year. According to 20minutos, the regional Government has allocated a total of €43.5 million for these grants and has already published the list of admitted students.
The resolution with the beneficiaries can be consulted in the Official Bulletin of the Community of Madrid (BOCM). Families can also follow the process on the institutional website of the Community of Madrid.
The scholarships are aimed at students attending Baccalaureate in private or subsidised centres. Students from public institutes do not need to apply, as these studies are free in those centres.
To qualify for the aid, students must be enrolled or have a reserved place in Baccalaureate at one of the centres included in the call, and must not have repeated a year. For the second consecutive year, academic grades also count: applicants can earn up to two additional points based on the final grade of the last completed course within the application period.
Those who already received the scholarship can extend it for this academic year, provided they meet the required conditions and have explicitly requested the renewal.
The amount depends on the income of the family unit, with two income brackets. Families earning up to €10,000 receive €3,750 annually, and those with incomes between €10,000 and €35,913 receive €2,000. If the total cost of the course is less than the granted aid, the amount cannot exceed the price of the studies.
