The judge in Collado Villalba has ordered prison for the four arrested for the murder of Elia Cobián, former owner of Almacenes Cobián, which occurred in May in her home in Galapagar.

The head of the Investigating Court number 1 of Collado Villalba has sent the four detainees to prison as presumed authors of the murder of Elia Cobián, former owner of Almacenes Cobián in the Plaza de Pontejos, Madrid. According to Infobae, the crime occurred in May at the victim's home in Galapagar.

The four suspects will face charges of burglary in a dwelling, in conjunction with a charge of homicide. One of them is also charged with concealment, according to sources from the Superior Court of Justice of Madrid.

The victim was found dead on May 6 inside her home. She had her hands tied, her mouth gagged, and several blows that caused her death, according to the investigation.

The Guardia Civil arrested the suspects last week. Two were arrested in Galapagar, another in the capital, and the fourth in Villajoyosa (Alicante). The agents also carried out three home searches in Galapagar, and the proceedings remain confidential.

On September 28, the Guardia Civil requested public assistance to advance the case. Investigators believe that the suspects fled along a path parallel to the Guadarrama River, towards the urban area of Galapagar, to avoid the usual exit and not be seen by witnesses or security forces.
