The President of the Community of Madrid sits down this Thursday on Cuatro's programme after demanding the evacuation of Puerta del Sol. The interview starts at 21:10.
Isabel Díaz Ayuso will be interviewed this Thursday, October 1st, on Horizonte, the programme presented by Iker Jiménez and Carmen Porter on Cuatro. The appointment is at 21:10 and it will be the first time the President of the Community of Madrid visits this format, according to formulatv.com.
The interview comes after the regional government has given 48 hours to the Government Delegation to order the evacuation of the camp at Puerta del Sol. The Community has warned that if it does not happen, it will go to the courts. The participants in the protest maintain their intention to stay in the square.
The protests began on Saturday September 26, when a demonstration for the right to housing turned into a camp that has since occupied part of the square. This Wednesday, the monument of the Bear and the Strawberry Tree was found covered in graffiti and stickers, one of which bore the message "Ayuso, be careful."
The Mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, described the inscription as threatening and announced that the Municipal Police will fence off the monument to protect it.

This Thursday's interview will be Ayuso's second appearance on Cuatro in just a week. On September 24, she appeared on En boca de todos, where Nacho Abad asked her, among other issues, about the eviction of Maricarmen.
Horizonte had previously interviewed Ricardo Alonso, owner of Urbagestión, after that eviction. In his intervention, he explained the agreement reached for Maricarmen to return to the property through a new rental contract, provided that the stipulated conditions are met.
