The Las Rozas City Council extends the hours of its two cemeteries for All Saints' Day. The new cemetery will open longer between October 31 and November 2.

According to MasVive, the Las Rozas City Council has extended the hours of the two cemeteries in the municipality on the occasion of All Saints' Day. The measure, promoted by the Department of Health, led by Mónica Paraíso, aims to facilitate visits for residents.

The old cemetery, located at kilometre 18 of the La Coruña road, will be open until November 2 from 9:30 to 17:30. The new cemetery, on Avenida de Nuestra Señora del Retamar, 14, will have extended hours from October 31 to November 2, opening from 8:00 to 18:30. Outside of these dates, from Monday to Friday, it closes at 18:00, after opening at 9:00.

The municipal funeral home chapel will host two religious services on November 1 and 2 at 17:00.

To get there, the City Council reminds that the Regional Transport Consortium provides access to both sites. Lines 622, 561, 561A, and 561B stop near the old cemetery, while line 625 runs along Avenida de Nuestra Señora del Retamar, where the new cemetery is located.

On November 1, Municipal Police officers will monitor the surroundings of the sites, and Civil Protection volunteers will be inside to ensure the day proceeds smoothly.
