The capital adds ten gastronomic openings after summer, from a Michelin-starred taquería to a fine dining restaurant atop Teatro Kapital. Prices range from 14 euros for a pizza to 150 for a tasting menu.

Madrid is reactivating its gastronomic calendar after summer with a dozen openings arriving this autumn. The offerings range from taquerias and market pizzerias to signature kitchens with tasting menus, as reported by ABC. Prices vary: there are average tickets of 20 euros and options that reach 150.

The taquería La Once Mil opens this Tuesday, 22nd, at plaza de las Salesas, 11. It is associated with Los 33 and has a Michelin star achieved in Mexico City. It does not accept reservations or deliveries, and its average ticket is around 50-60 euros. Among its tacos is one made with Galician blonde beef rib aged for 100 days.

Pizza Pagana is the proposal from chefs Insurgente Genaro Celia and Agustín Mikielievich at the Mercado de San Leopoldo, in the Plaza Castilla area. They work with long fermentation dough (72 hours) and homemade sauces. Pizzas cost between 14 and 22 euros.

The Puesto Guía Repsol at the Mercado de Vallehermoso operates with guest chefs on an itinerant basis. This week, on 23rd and 24th September, the chefs from Fontané, the Roca brothers, will cook. In October, on the 22nd and 23rd, the chefs from AMA in Guipuzkoa will be there; in November, Fuentelgato (Cuenca), and in December, the Galicians from Ceibe. The fixed menu costs 45 euros plus drinks.

El Alfiler del Callejón, from chef Javier Muñoz-Calero, opened this month in the Salamanca district (calle Puigcerdá, 16). It revives the concept of a Madrid tavern with seafood, salted fish, marinades, tripe, ear, croquettes, and calamari sandwiches. The average ticket varies between 20 and 60 euros.

Sexto, from chef Juan Suárez de Lezo and Grupo Kapital, occupies the upper floor of the Teatro Kapital (calle Atocha, 125). It offers a tasting menu of 12 courses for 150 euros featuring Spanish cuisine with international influences.

Bresa will open on 12th October at calle Villanueva, 21. It is the most personal project of brothers Paco and Javier Aparicio (La Raquetista, Cachivache, Salino). With an average ticket of 90 euros, the menu will change with the seasons and will only offer table service, without a bar.

Mecha opened last week at calle Almirante, 11. Chef Juan D'Onofrio (Chispa Bistró) joins Lucas Fernández (Trésde), composer Antonio Chávez, and Álvaro López, who moves from head chef at Chispa to lead this opening. Inspired by Japanese Jazz Kissa, it features live music and a menu of 30 dishes with products from the sea, field, and garden. The average ticket is 60-70 euros.

The list is completed with Tigre, an Italian-Argentinian grill with a Mexican twist, and other proposals aiming to establish themselves in the Madrid scene this autumn.
