Madrid closes October with charity concerts, theatre, exhibitions and outdoor plans. Additionally, the clock will be set back one hour on the night from Saturday to Sunday.

According to madridiario.es, the last full weekend of October brings a cultural agenda to the capital with concerts, stage productions, exhibitions and outdoor plans. This is complemented by the switch to winter time, which takes effect in the early hours of Saturday to Sunday and adds an extra hour of sleep.

Music takes centre stage. The Movistar Arena hosts a new edition of 'Cadena 100 Por Ellas', a charity concert benefiting the Spanish Association Against Cancer, featuring Fangoria, Pablo López, Leire Martínez, Rosana, Conchita, Huecco, Funambulista, Marlon, Marlena and Vicco. That same venue will close on Friday the 'La Insurrección' tour of Dani Fernández, who will present songs from his latest album and announce a temporary farewell from the stage.

La Fuga will perform on Friday and Saturday at La Riviera, as part of a tour celebrating over thirty years of their career. The Cantabrian group will revisit songs such as 'Por verte sonreír' and 'Buscando en la basura'.

On Sunday, Tan Bionica presents 'El Regreso' at Live Las Ventas, their first album with new songs in a decade. The Scottish band Declan Welsh and The Decadent West will play on Sunday at El Sol, and La Caja de Pandora brings their 'Tour 25 Sentíos' to the same venue on Friday.

The Radar Joven cycle, organised by the Community of Madrid, distributes emerging music across various venues in the capital throughout the weekend. On Friday, Jordana B and A Mares will perform at Independance, and Amanda and Apolo 18 at El Sótano. On Sunday, Ashleys and Nenazas will close the programme at Maravillas Club and West SRK at Sala B.

The JazzMadrid festival also occupies several stages. On Friday, Elles Bailey will perform at Sala Villanos and Lucía Rey Quartet at the Círculo de Bellas Artes. On Saturday, Kat Eaton opens the day at Sala Villanos and Clara Peya presents 'Nuca' at the Teatro Albéniz.
