The XXII Community of Madrid Cyclocross Cup has been presented at the Town Hall of Navalafuente with a calendar of eight events starting on October 4 in the mountain town and concluding on December 13 in Coslada with the Madrid Championships.

The XXII Community of Madrid Cyclocross Cup now has its calendar. The presentation took place in the auditorium of the Town Hall of Navalafuente, in the northern Madrid mountains, with the presence of representatives from the Madrid Cycling Federation (FMC), organisers from the various venues, and local public officials.

The vice president of the FMC, Pablo Santos, opened the event by recalling that cyclocross was revived 24 years ago and that since then, races have been held continuously in the region. The head of the cyclocross committee and selector, Carlos Pires, also spoke.

The technical director of the Navalafuente event, Antonio Araque, detailed that the circuit will recover a field that had not been included since the second edition. The town will host the first event on October 4, after three years without hosting the competition.

It is one of the best, if not the best in the entire region,” said the mayor of Navalafuente, Javier Rubio de Gregorio, about the local circuit.

The mayor expressed hope that the rain forecasts would allow for a muddy spectacle similar to the last edition held in 2023.

The Cup will continue on November 14 in Paracuellos del Jarama, a scoring event for the Multidisciplinary League. Its organiser, Juan Luis Irigoyen, president of CC Stecchino MTB, announced that the circuit is moving to a more central area. The following day, November 15, it will be the turn of Torrejón de Ardoz, which is reviving a race that had not been held since 2019 and is doing so at a new location, as explained by the sports councillor, Miriam Gutiérrez.

On November 22, the event will be in Mejorada del Campo. The general secretary of CEC Coslada, Carlos Gómez Feito, justified the change of dates due to the Town Hall's agenda and announced a modification in the start position.

On November 29, Alalpardo will host a race that is also part of the Multidisciplinary League. The organisation highlighted the longevity of this race, which has been held since PC Ciclonorte promoted cyclocross in 2005. Carlos Jiménez confirmed that Tre3ce Bike will close the Spanish Cup on December 8 with an event that will debut as an international UCI event.

On December 7, Arroyomolinos will host a day reserved for schools. The grand finale will be on December 13 in Coslada, where the regional champions of the discipline will be crowned. The president of CEC Coslada, Iván Martínez, described the Barrall-Ferial circuit as “the best in the Community of Madrid.”

The complete calendar for the 2026 Madrid Cyclocross Cup is as follows: October 4 in Navalafuente; November 14 in Paracuellos del Jarama; November 15 in Torrejón de Ardoz; November 22 in Mejorada del Campo; November 29 in Alalpardo; December 7 in Arroyomolinos (schools only); and December 13 in Coslada, with the Madrid Championships. The information has been disseminated by telemadrid.es.
