A collision between a van and a tanker at kilometre 23.500 of the A-3, near Arganda del Rey, left six injured on Friday, all occupants of the first vehicle. The accident occurred at 19:20 hours heading towards Madrid, according to data provided by Emergencias 112 Comunidad de Madrid, information reported by madridactual.es.
SUMMA 112 attended to the six occupants of the van. Two men were reported to be seriously injured and four women were in a potentially serious condition, according to the emergency services' report.
The two men were taken to Hospital 12 de Octubre and Gregorio Marañón, respectively. Of the four women, two were admitted to Hospital de La Princesa and the other two to Ramón y Cajal.
Firefighters from the Community of Madrid intervened at the scene to free one of the men, who had become trapped inside the van, and rescued two other people from the vehicle.
The Guardia Civil has taken charge of the investigation to determine the causes of the collision between the van and the tanker.
