The president of the Community of Madrid works from six in the morning and reserves part of the day for running and weight training.

According to OK Diario, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, president of the Community of Madrid, wakes up at five in the morning and starts working at six. The leader has explained how she organises the first hours of the day, before her institutional agenda begins.

She has stated that the first two hours of the day are the most productive, as they allow her to advance tasks with total concentration.

The first two hours are a goldmine, I have absolute inspiration and I get so much done.

At eight in the morning, whenever her obligations allow, it’s time for exercise. She combines running with machines and weights, working on cardiovascular endurance and the main muscle groups.

Ayuso has mentioned in other interviews that there was a time when she ran ten kilometres daily and even participated in half marathons. She enjoys going out in the morning because she loves watching the sunrise and feels she starts the day with more control.

The president turned 48 years old on 17 October 2026, according to her birth date, 17 October 1978.
