Argentinian President Javier Milei will be in Madrid on Wednesday, October 21, with a meeting scheduled with the President of the Community, Isabel Díaz Ayuso.
The Wednesday, October 21 will be the central day of Javier Milei's stay in Madrid, according to the agenda that Infobae has been able to reconstruct. The Argentinian president will arrive in the capital on Tuesday, October 20, at 18:30, after leaving Buenos Aires on Monday, October 19, at 23:00.
His main political appointment will be at 17:00 on Wednesday, when he will meet again with Isabel Díaz Ayuso, President of the Community of Madrid and of the Popular Party in the region. For now, no meeting with Santiago Abascal, president of Vox, has been confirmed, who according to sources from his party will be at electoral events outside Madrid.
The day starts at 9:30 with a presentation at the Fórum Europa of Nueva Economía Fórum, at the Real Casino Gran Círculo de Madrid, located on Calle Alcalá. Economist Daniel Lacalle will present the leader at the informational breakfast, which begins at 9:45.
At 13:00, Milei will participate in the opening of the tenth Annual Madrid Conference on Austrian Economics, organized at the King Juan Carlos University. The congress will run until Friday, October 23, but the president will only attend the first day and will leave Spain that same night.
Among the speakers is Jesús Huerta de Soto, Professor of Political Economy at King Juan Carlos University, who will give a keynote speech. According to available information, both economists may hold a personal meeting during the visit.

During the visit, he will be accompanied by Adrián Ravier, an economist specialized in the Austrian School and current presidential spokesperson.
Díaz Ayuso welcomed Milei in June 2024 at the Royal Post House, where she presented him with the International Medal of the Community of Madrid. The visit comes amid the pre-campaign, as the government of Pedro Sánchez dissolved the Cortes on October 5 and called for general elections on November 29. The formal campaign will start on November 13.
