Más Madrid spokesperson, Manuela Bergerot, believes that the President of Madrid has an "evident political responsibility" following the summons of the director of Quirón Prevención as an investigated party on December 3.

The spokesperson for Más Madrid in the Assembly of Madrid, Manuela Bergerot, has stated that the President of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, has an "evident political responsibility" in the case investigating Alberto González Amador for alleged corruption in business and disloyal administration.

The Madrid leader reacted after the Court of Instruction number 19 in Madrid summoned the general director of Quirón Prevención, Fernando Javier Camino, on December 3 as an investigated party, as reported by Europa Press.

There are now three defendants, but Ayuso has been too close to these businesses and has made key decisions to favour Quirón, so she has an evident political responsibility

Bergerot pointed out that this summons is "one more piece of evidence" that "the shady dealings of Ayuso's boyfriend are businesses with the Quirón group." "If Mr Camino is suspected of receiving a bribe from Alberto González Amador, it is only natural that he is being investigated," she added.

The Más Madrid spokesperson expressed hope that "the work of justice continues, that it clarifies responsibilities and sheds light" on a system that, in her view, allows the injection of "billions of euros of public money into private companies" that "turn the health of the people into gold."

The line of investigation was opened following a report from the Tax Agency that pointed to possible irregularities in the acquisition in 2020 of the company Círculo de Belleza SL, a transaction for which González Amador's company paid nearly half a million euros for a company that had barely any activity.

The magistrate decided to open a separate investigation from the main procedure for the alleged use of a shell company to "conceal some income" from the Quirón Group that should have been declared. This was done after partially accepting a reform appeal from the PSOE and Más Madrid against the order that on July 31 denied all the proceedings requested by these popular accusations.
