The Community of Madrid activates a special device in the Metro this Monday with train increases of up to 70% for the Armed Forces parade and the scheduled concerts, including Shakira's last performance in Villaverde.

The Community of Madrid boosts the Metro service by up to 70% on the occasion of Hispanic Day. The service begins at 9:00 AM, two hours before the Armed Forces parade, and will continue until the event concludes, expected around 2:00 PM, as reported by epe.es.

The parade will traverse the Prado-Recoletos axis, from the Emperor Charles V roundabout in Atocha to the Plaza de Colón. The lines most benefited during the event will be Line 2, with 56% more trains; Line 4, with 50%; and Line 1, with 40%. The Central Control Post of Metro will monitor passenger flow in real-time to adjust the service to demand.

In the afternoon, the reinforcements will shift to the musical events. From 7:00 PM, lines 3 and 10 will increase their capacity to facilitate access to the free concert by Carlos Baute in the Plaza de España, scheduled for 8:00 PM. Line 2 will enhance its frequency for the music and fireworks show at 9:30 PM in the Plaza de Cibeles, with the maximum increase of 70% occurring between 10:00 PM and 11:00 PM.

The day will coincide with the last concert of Shakira's European residency at the Iberdrola Music venue in Villaverde. Lines 3 and 12 will expand their service from 7:00 PM until the network closes, with a capacity increase of up to 260% to facilitate the movements of attendees.
