Four injured, one seriously, after car falls down a slope in Moraleja de Enmedio

The vehicle plunged down a slope after misapproaching a roundabout on the M-410/M-413. Firefighters rescued the four occupants and SUMMA 112 transported them to hospitals in Madrid.

A car with four occupants left the road and fell down a slope in Moraleja de Enmedio in the early hours of this Sunday. The incident occurred around 5:00 AM at the height of the M-410/M-413, according to Emergencias 112.

For reasons still under investigation, the vehicle incorrectly approached a roundabout and ended up plunging down the slope, as reported by elconfidencial.com. The Firefighters of the Community of Madrid had to rescue the four people inside.

The medical team from SUMMA 112 stabilised and evacuated the four affected individuals, one of whom is in serious condition.

The driver, a 27-year-old woman, suffered rib trauma and was transported in potentially serious condition to 12 de Octubre hospital.

Also in the car was a 33-year-old woman who sustained bruises and was admitted in potentially serious condition to Puerta de Hierro, according to the same source.

There was also a 52-year-old man with rib fractures and facial trauma, who is in serious condition, and another 35-year-old man with bruises. Both were taken to 12 de Octubre.

The Guardia Civil has taken over the investigation of the accident to determine the circumstances under which the car left the roadway.
