An Argentine creator living in Madrid claims that getting around by public transport in the city centre is better than by car. According to her experience, parking in the centre is very difficult.

According to El HuffPost, Argentine content creator Lola Cabeller, who lives in Madrid and has over 130,000 followers on TikTok alone, defended the functioning of the capital's public transport in a video. The recording, which has surpassed 40,000 views in just a few hours, compares the Madrid service with what she knew in Argentina.

The creator states that if you come to Madrid, it is better to get around by public transport in the city centre than by car. She explains that there are buses running all day, with a frequency of every five or ten minutes, reaching almost any point within the M-30.

Regarding night schedules, she indicates that buses run until 23:30 and then the night buses, which come every half hour, every 45 minutes, or every hour. As for the Metro de Madrid, she notes that it closes around 1:30 and reopens at 6:00. Additionally, she mentions that she believes a 24-hour service is planned that is not yet operational.

Really, in Madrid, it’s not worth renting a car. The centre is a mess, there’s no place to park anywhere.

In the comments of the video, several Spanish users agreed with her and highlighted that the Metro and the bus are punctual, clean, and cheap.
