The agreement, signed by UGT, CCOO and the employer UNO, regulates the sector until 2028 with salary increases of 4.25% this year, 3.5% in 2027 and 3.5% in 2028, as well as a transport bonus of 44 euros per month.
The trade union organisations UGT and CCOO, along with the employer UNO (Business Organisation of Logistics and Transport), have signed the VI Collective Agreement for Logistics, Parcel Delivery and Ancillary Activities to Goods Transport in the Community of Madrid. The text, which according to fesmcugt.org replaces the current agreement between 2023 and 2025, regulates the working conditions of the sector until 2028.
The agreement includes a salary increase of 4.25% for 2026, with retroactive effects from January 1, followed by increases of 3.5% in 2027 and another 3.5% in 2028. The text also incorporates a review clause linked to the evolution of the CPI.
Among the economic news is the creation of a transport bonus of 44 euros per month, which will be paid for 11 months a year and will be revalued in 2027 and 2028 in accordance with the agreed salary increases.
In terms of seniority, the agreement adds an additional five-year period, extending the recognition of workers' permanence in the companies of the sector. It also establishes 16 annual hours for accompanying medical consultations in the cases contemplated in the text, a reconciliation measure that is incorporated for the first time.
The agreement includes improvements in professional promotion, such as the transition from second officer to first officer under the terms established in the new text, and a general update of the agreement to adapt it to the regulatory changes of recent years.
The negotiation lasted for months. In July, the discussions were still open and significant differences persisted between the parties on issues such as salaries, flexibility, working hours and productivity. The final agreement allows for the renewal of the collective framework of the sector with common conditions for the coming years.
The agreement affects logistics, parcel delivery and ancillary activities to goods transport companies operating in the Community of Madrid, which will apply the new conditions from January 1, 2026.
