The 27th edition of MITM Europe – MICE & Business will be held in Madrid from January 17 to 19, 2027, as a precursor to FITUR. This is reported by expreso.info, which details that the meeting will bring together international buyers and suppliers from the MICE sector over two days.
In just one month, the organisation has received over 200 registrations from buyers from 42 countries. Exhibitors, for their part, have already booked 40% of the available space.
The forecast for this edition is to exceed 600 buyer registrations from 60 countries, from which around 60 companies will be selected based on their professional profile and business potential.
Each participant will have an agenda with up to 30 pre-scheduled professional appointments between exhibitors and buyers, in addition to a networking programme for direct contacts among professionals.
The meeting is aimed at executives and decision-makers from corporate companies, incentive agencies, international associations, event planners, congress organisers, luxury-specialised agencies, and MICE-focused tour operators.
For the second consecutive year, the Rafaelhoteles Atocha hotel will be the venue for the event. The recently renovated establishment features 254 rooms and over 1,000 m² of event spaces, located near the Triangle of Art and close to the AVE Madrid-Puerta de Atocha station.
MITM Europe is sponsored by Novotel Madrid Center, GoldDriving, and Meliá Hotels, in addition to Rafaelhoteles Atocha.
The previous edition, held in January 2026, brought together over 130 companies from 28 countries and received more than 550 buyer registrations from 69 countries. Suppliers booked 100% of the available space.
The organiser is GSAR Marketing, a tourism marketing company integrated into the Convenco Group. Since 1997, it has produced international fairs specialising in premium cultural tourism and MICE, with 65 fairs held in 38 cities across 18 countries.
