Carlos Baute performs for free at 20:00 in Plaza España, and Corral de la Morería offers its flamenco gala in Plaza Mayor. The day includes shows in tablaos starting from 15 euros.

Live music takes centre stage again this October 12 in Madrid. The Plaza de España will host a free concert by Carlos Baute at 20:00 hours, one of the highlights of the more than 200 activities organised for Hispanic Day, as detailed by 20minutos.

Before Baute, the audience will be able to listen to Galdrii Pereira, one of the emerging voices in urban music in Spain, and see numbers from the musical Six, which has won over 35 international awards, including two Tonys.

The free offerings are complemented at the same time in the Plaza Mayor with the 'Gala de Estrellas del Flamenco' from Corral de la Morería. Artists such as La Moneta, Diana Navarro, Mercedes Ruiz, Olga Pericet, José Maya, and Jesús Carmona will take to the stage.

The event represents "the largest outdoor flamenco show in history in the world, with over 10,000 spectators," according to the Community of Madrid.

Those who prefer indoor venues have two options. At the Sala Tablao Ópera Flamenca, at 18:30 hours, Paula Moreno, Carlos Rivero, and Illeana Gómez will perform, with tickets priced at 15 euros for general admission and 20 euros for VIP.

At the Sala Teatro Flamenco Madrid, there will be three performances (17:00, 19:00, and 20:45 hours) featuring Argentine dancer Carlos Rivero as a guest. Tickets start from 32 euros.

The free concerts in Plaza de España and Plaza Mayor do not require prior reservation, and access is granted until capacity is reached.
