El Pulpo has 21 bookings in six years and Dj Nano has 11 since the pandemic. Both dominate the local festivities in the region.
Dj El Pulpo, the stage name of Carlos Moreno Arribas (Madrid, 1974), is the most booked artist at popular parties in Madrid's districts since José Luis Martínez-Almeida became mayor. He has accumulated 21 performances in six years, spread across nine districts, according to infolibre.es.
His latest performance was on 16 August 2026 at the Jardines de Las Vistillas, during the Fiestas de la Virgen de la Paloma (Centre). In 2025, he performed at six local festivities: Dehesa de la Villa (Moncloa-Aravaca), Tetuán, El Carmen (Chamberí), La Paloma (Centre), San Miguel (Chamartín), and Barrio del Pilar (Fuencarral-El Pardo).
By district and celebration, El Pulpo's frequency is as follows: Barrio del Pilar, five times (2021-2025); Fiestas del Carmen in Chamberí, four (2021, 2022, 2023, and 2025); Fiestas del Pilar in Salamanca, three (2021, 2022, and 2024); San Miguel in Chamartín, two (2023 and 2025); Tetuán, two (2024 and 2025); Virgen de la Paloma, two (2025 and 2026); La Melonera, one (2022); Vicálvaro, one (2024); and Dehesa de la Villa, one (2025).
El Pulpo's fee is around 3,500 euros per event, according to various media reports in recent years. The artist balances his music career with radio: for the past twenty years, he has worked at COPE, where he hosts the late-night show Poniendo las calles. He has also served as an entertainer at events for the PP, including campaign closures and election nights.
The programming of the festivities is awarded to organising companies, with which the bookings are then decided based on fee, availability, and appeal to the public," officials from the Madrid City Council defend.
The second most booked artist is Dj Nano (José Luis Garaña de los Cobos, Madrid, 1977), with 11 performances in the capital since the pandemic. In 2026, he has performed at the festivities of Canillejas, San Antonio de la Florida, and Vicálvaro, where he also performed in 2025. Previously, he played at Moratalaz (2024 and 2025), San Isidro (2022, 2023, and 2024), Barrio del Pilar (2023), and again at San Antonio de la Florida (2022), where he was the announcer as a local resident.
Outside the capital, Dj Nano is a regular at the Fiestas de San Sebastián de los Reyes (2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026) and has performed in Aranjuez (2025), Torrejón (2023), and Arganda del Rey (10 September 2026). El Pulpo also performs in municipalities across the region: Leganés (Fiestas de Butarque, 2026), Pozuelo (2023, 2025, and 2026), Alcobendas (2024, 2025, and 2026), and San Lorenzo de El Escorial (2026).
Dj Nano is scheduled to perform in Villaviciosa de Odón on the night of Friday 25 September 2026.
