The Alcobendas Art Centre has been the venue for the second edition of the European HealthTech Forum, a two-day meeting on Thursday and Friday that brought together companies, entrepreneurs, researchers, institutions, and experts in technology applied to health, according to epe.es.
The event has turned the Madrid locality into a meeting point for the HealthTech ecosystem, with sessions dedicated to knowledge exchange, seeking collaboration opportunities, and developing projects linked to health technology.
During the forum, the possibilities of new technological solutions to transform the health sector were analysed, as well as the challenges and opportunities for companies and institutions. The choice of Alcobendas is due to the concentration of numerous pharmaceutical and health sector companies in the city.
The mayor, Rocío García Alcántara, spoke at the closing to highlight the municipality's ability to attract meetings that connect business, knowledge, and innovation. Her goal, she noted, is to consolidate the city as a space where companies can grow, collaborate, and develop initiatives with social impact.
