Argentine President Javier Milei lashed out at Pedro Sánchez during an informative breakfast at the Real Casino in Madrid. He later met with Isabel Díaz Ayuso before returning to Argentina.
According to Público, Argentine President Javier Milei had a busy agenda in Madrid that morning, filled with insults directed at the Government and journalists. His first appointment was an informative breakfast hosted by Nueva Economía Fórum at the Real Casino de Madrid, at 9:58 AM.
During his speech, which lasted just over half an hour, Milei referred to the Prime Minister as an 'unpresentable dictator' and called for the dismantling of the State. Among the audience were the President of the Senate, Pedro Rollán, and several national leaders from Vox. The event was concluded by economist Daniel Lacalle.
Stupid, incompetent, leftists, impoverishers,” said Milei as he entered the venue.
Earlier, the PSOE had hung a banner at their headquarters in Ferraz that read “the leftists welcome you,” according to the same report.
In the final questions, Milei attacked the Argentine newspaper Clarín and several journalists. To a reporter from Cadena SER, Julia Molina, he responded that her question was “a view typical of intellectually short people and miserable politicians.”
In the afternoon, the Argentine president met with the President of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso. The minister and leader of the Madrid PSOE, Óscar López, criticized this meeting, stating that the PP and Vox “are fleeing” from the visit. Milei was scheduled to return to Argentina on a flight at 9:00 PM.
At the Rey Juan Carlos University campus in Vicálvaro, where Milei gave a lecture in a Master's programme in Economics, several hundred students protested with banners and chants against his presence. A police cordon separated the protesters from the building that the president accessed, which only accredited students were allowed to enter.
